Insulated Flue Systems

If your property doesn’t have a chimney or you are choosing to install a stove in a room that doesn’t have a chimney you can use an Insulated Flue System.

What is an insulated flue?

Insulated flue systems, can also be known as Twin Wall Flue Systems and are used when a traditional chimney stack is not available. It is made up of connecting flue sections to create a flue system.

It can run internally through your house or externally up the side of your house. The insulation prevents the outer layer from reaching high temperatures and allows safe distances to combustible materials. It also helps to keep the flue gases warmer which prevents them from condensing and leaving behind deposits of tar or creosote.
